Vickie Garcia, MSW
Executive Director, Home Health
Vickie received her Bachelor’s Degree from the Northwest Nazarene University of Social Work in 2010 and earned a master’s degree in 2018. She has been a medical Social Worker for seven years. She started her career at the Apex Center as a long-term care/mental health Social Worker. Later she worked for Riverview Rehabilitation as the short-term rehabilitation discharge planner. Her combined education and experience is a great addition to Saltzer Home Health.
Luxi Taylor RN
Luxi Taylor, RN
Clinical Director, Home Health
Luxi is a registered nurse. She began her health care career as a certified nursing assistant at age 18, then transitioned to optometry for eight years as a certified optician. Luxi went back for her LPN in 2013 and graduated within a year and was working nights while working towards her RN degree. Throughout her nursing career, Luxi has worked in MDS and nurse management roles; including unit manager and assistant director of nursing. Luxi has knowledge in post-acute care, wounds, and infusion therapies. Luxi believes in personalized care focused on the individual’s needs. She is committed to showing compassion and respect for her patients and loves seeing her patients improve, return home, and be as independent as they can be. Her passion for providing exceptional levels of health care continue to drive her in her role as Clinical Director for Saltzer Home Health.
Executive Director, Home Care
Nichole was born and raised in Idaho and considers herself a true Idahoan. She enjoys snowboarding in the winter, hiking in the summer, spending as much time with her family as possible, and volunteering for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at Boise State University and has been providing Home Care services to the community for over 11 years. She found her passion for Home Care when her grandfather passed away and finding the proper services for him and her family was a challenge. She believes that having the resources within reach for those you love is of the upmost importance. It is now her mission to provide education and quality services to those in the community who need it most.
